Therma Kōta is a female-founded family business inspired by our Scandinavian roots. We embrace the elements, honour the supernatural, and celebrate coziness through our sustainable assortment of outerwear, rainwear, and home goods. We are a zero-waste company.
The brand was conceived by sisters Mosha and Sophie Lundström Halbert in 2017. They called upon their mother, notable designer Linda Lundström, to lend her design and production expertise. Influenced by their Nordic heritage and Canadian upbringing in the cold, the Lundströms use their diverse skillset and unique point-of-view to collaborate on the collection.
Therma Kota has been featured in VOGUE, ELLE, WWD, The Coveteur, Fortune, The Globe & Mail, and more. Clients of Therma Kōta include former First Lady of the United States Michelle Obama, First Lady of Iceland Eliza Reid, model Coco Rocha, entrepreneur Hannah Bronfman, and television personality Amanda Kloots, among other remarkable women.
