Brand Story:
Michelle Oliveira, Local Community member, owner of marketingyourbusiness.ca and one of the Co-Founders of Sew For TO (who have supplied over 26,000 non-PPE masks, caps and ear savers in just three months), has gathered a group of sewists from Toronto to produce and sell locally-made reusable masks, Smile Accessible Clear Window masks, scrub caps and other mask accessories such as face mask bags and face mask fanny packs.
Michelle is an active community member in Willowdale (Toronto), Founding Board Member of West Willowdale Neighbourhood Association, parent volunteer and active member of WeLOVEWillowdale.
These sewists alone have given countless hours and hours of their time (usually five to eight hours a day, seven days a week) to sew for SewForTO producing over 2,500 of our 26,000 masks, scrub caps and mask ear savers for frontline workers including North York General Hospital, Humber River and St. Michael’s Hospital, Sunnybrook, St. Joes, North York Seniors and so many more other organizations in Toronto and the GTA.
Michelle is thrilled to be starting this to provide work for these sewists who gave so much for our frontline workers.
